Since Lorde's opening, a percentage of product sales are contributed to supporting Wedgwood's Manasseh Project to fight sex trafficking. Check out the video below to learn more about this amazing organization's work.
In addition to a regular financial contribution, Lorde owner and founder Rachel Williams has created an annual, 2-phase self-care program for the survivors of trafficking and abuse in treatment at Wedgewood Christian Services. Our goal is to empower young girls 12-17 to remind them that they are worthy of honor, blessing, advancement and can enjoy their beauty, for themselves, once again.
Phase 1:
Rachel speaks beauty truths with the young women participating in the program to educate them in self care. At the end of the talk, the girls are blessed with premium beauty products provided by Lorde that have been generously donated by some our brands to start them on their journey to loving and healing beauty rituals.
Phase 2:
The participants are invited into Lorde to visit the Nest and experience a luxury spa experiene and understand how to begin practicing and owning their beauty truths.
