Give your taste buds and complexion a delightful jolt of amazingness with my Vibrancy Ginger and Cacao Granola Recipe. Comforting and also energizing, the snappy vibrancy of anti-inflammatory ginger intermingling with antioxidant rich cacao is so delish. I top mine with pomegranate for an extra hit of beautiful color, texture, and another anti-oxidant punch! This makes four cups, perfect to sprinkle and combine with yogurt, alone, or share on a hike!
Vibrancy Ginger and Cacao Granola Recipe
3/4 c. slivered almonds
4 c. oats
3/4 c. cacao powder
A heaping tsp. or slightly more if desired, of ground ginger
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1/2 c. + a little drizzle more (I always do!) of maple syrup
A little less than a 1/2 c. melted coconut oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Combine dry ingredients by hand first, then add the melted coconut oil and maple syrup.
Bake at 345 for 15-17 min.
Let it cool, then with a metal spatula, break it up and store it in a jar, better yet, fill multiple jars and share it!
