You are Beauty, Power, and Love.
It’s all around you, within your face, and in your reflection. You are worthy of gentleness, you are worthy of grace.
Your worthiness is far more than
the punch list waiting for you on the daily
the diagnosis, the losses and gains encountered.
Your worthiness is more than
the sunrise that takes your breath away
the prayer you offer in gratitude as you exhale
the affirmation received through efforts seen and unseen.
Yes, you are worthy of gentleness, you are worthy of grace.
Grace goes before courage.
Grace reaches back to you, saying:
You’ve got this
Harness this, its time.
Have courage
You are enough.
Beautiful one, you are enough.
Rest, know, and feel this truth.
There are moments, weeks, and seasons, where we are met with the unfamiliar.
Hosea 2:14 says "Therefore, watch and see, I will draw her into the wilderness and speak comfort to her, speaking tenderly what is needed."
The wilderness exists, so that we can unite with the Divine.
Maybe wilderness is starting over, again.
Maybe it's taking a chance.
Maybe it's wading through a very heavy year or season, in which very little resembles anything you recognize from your former years.
The wilderness, which is unfamiliarity, shuts out the former things in order to bring awareness to the present; and in the present, no matter what the situation, it presents itself with far more than you could ever hope for.
Opposite of what we may feel, the wilderness does not exist as a place to become lost or confused, which fear tells us.
No. The wilderness is here to present what can be found, uncovered, and to unravel what is needed.
And just when we think that there is nothing familiar here in the wilderness, Love presents itself in the wilderness.
Love is not unfamiliar.
It is where we came from, we're formed within, and is there for us in this exact moment.
Love is the essence of the wilderness, and it takes believing -awareness and faith; and engaging-hope in action, for Love to reveal its ever present promise that is waiting for you and for me, too.
Touch your face.
Yes, this loving act is beautiful and so are you! Speak this truth to yourself, and share from it to encourage another!
You are worthy of gentleness, you are worthy of grace.
