Detoxifying Carrot Slaw
3-4 large Carrots shredded- I use a combo of yellow and orange carrots for color
Half to a whole a Jalapeño sliced thinly
1/4 Red Onion thinly sliced
1 large handful chopped Cilantro
2 Tbsp. Heirloom Benne Seeds
3-4 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
1 1/2 Limes juiced
Fresh cracked Pink Himalayan Salt and Black Pepper
3 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Raw Honey
Whisk together Sesame Oil, Lime juice, Apple Cider Vinegar and Raw Honey. Crack the salt and pepper within it and taste. Combine the first five ingredients and toss lightly. I drizzle a little extra Sesame Oil over and lightly mix again. Pour dressing over and combine, and crack a bit more fresh pepper over and serve immediately!
