Epic Apple Almond Bread is the easiest, swoon-worthy treat to enjoy and give all season long! I created this sweet bread with the burst of fall goodness, Ambrosia apples from my favorite local orchard and my love of everything almond. Combining the fluffy bread with chopped lush apples, a swirl of cinnamon sugar and a chewy and crispy almond paste topping will soon become your go-to for cold weather gatherings and chill weekend mornings filled with comfort and joy!
For almond paste mix: 1/2 a lot almond paste crumbed into 1-2 beaten eggs with a 1/2 c. Sugar and set aside.
For Cinnamon Sugar Swirl: Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar with 2 Tbsp. Cinnamon set aside.
For bread:
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. Vanilla, 1 tsp. Almond extract.
Mix till combined medium speed.
1 1/2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Add too wet ingredients and mix till combined.
Fold in an ambrosia apple that is sliced thin and chopped well. Pour into prepared loaf pan 9x5.
Pour almond paste mixture over top. Sprinkle the brown sugar cinnamon mix and swirl into batter with a fork.
Bake 45 min at 350 or till a knife comes out clean. Let it cool completely and enjoy!
